Savchenko Studio is an independent animation studio founded by artist and animator Serhiy Savchenko. The studio functions as a creative extension of the author’s artistic practice, combining painting, graphic art, and experimental animation.
The studio focuses on developing Savchenko’s artistic ideas through short author-driven animated films, video art, and experimental cinema. Most projects are created as independent works in which animation becomes a natural continuation of the visual language of the artist.
Animations produced by SAS – Savchenko Animation Studio explore themes that have been repeatedly interpreted throughout human culture — life, war, love, death, and history. Through irony, metaphor, and the repetition of everyday situations, these films reflect on the cyclical nature of human existence and the fragile structure of human experience.
The studio also presents curated author screenings and programs of animated films by Serhiy Savchenko.
