A new episode of the animated film by Serhiy Savchenko has been released by SAWA VIDEO STUDIO in 2025.
Each year, the artist works on a unique animated diary, reflecting on the year lived through a selection of events he considers significant. This ongoing artistic chronicle captures global, political, cultural, and personal transformations as they unfold over time.
The project began in 2020, when the artist created the first extended version of Selected History of Western Civilization. Since then, Savchenko has returned to the film annually, adding new chapters and expanding the original release from 2019. Over the years, the film has grown from 11 minutes to nearly 20 minutes, evolving alongside the world it observes.
