“Intimacy” is a series of paintings created during and after Ukraine’s 2014 Revolution of Dignity. Inspired by the works of Francisco Goya, the project explores themes of sleep, fear, memory, intuition, and the deep internal landscapes of the human psyche.
Intimacy is presented as a silent cavity within the structure of personal existence — a space of vulnerability and transformation. It is the root of creativity, yet also a threat to authoritarian systems. In a world where intimacy is repressed, tyranny arises.
Sleep, fear, thoughts, intuition, memory.
Intimacy – hidden in a corner of reality.
Intimacy – a cavity in a system of personal essence.
Intimacy -a mystery that is continuously transformed.
Creativity – a form of Intimacy.
Deficiency of Intimacy generates tyranny.
All dictatorships of the world long ago declared war on Intimacy
